Highly Anticipated Bagel Shop Opens In Hamden

HAMDEN, CT — A highly anticipated bagel shop has opened on Whitney Avenue in Hamden.

Bagel Bagel officially opened its doors at 2404 Whitney Avenue last weekend. Plans were announced last October that the former hair salon at the space was being transformed into the new bagel shop.

Bagel Bagel is described as a neighborhood bagel shop.

“A quick, friendly takeout stop for your morning,” a post on the eatery’s website reads. “We keep it small and do it well: big bagels, crunchy outside and chewy inside, plus espresso, cold brew, and a rotating nitro draft latte on tap. Grab a bagel with schmear, a breakfast or chopped sandwich. plus, every month we rotate something new — a nitro draft latte, a schmear flavor, and a specialty bagel.

“We built bagel bagel to be the calm corner of a fast town. good bagels, good coffee, good people, and no hype. grab yours and take your morning easy.

The eatery’s menu includes a variety of bagels, schmears, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and more.
