The mixed-use property sits on one of Hamden's key commercial corridors, offering both housing and a convenient service hub with strong access to the greater New Haven area.

A Dancer Finds His Footing In The Classroom (newhavenarts.org) — A New Haven–raised dancer now teaching at Cooperative Arts & Humanities High School is also sharing his craft with students in Hamden and nearby towns, turning early struggles into a full-time teaching career. His story highlights how local arts educators nurture young talent across districts, from public schools to studios in Woodbridge and Hamden.
   

3. The Number Twelve Looks Like You Premiere "Glow In The Dark Skin" Video (themosh.net) — Hamden metal and hardcore fans can catch The Number Twelve Looks Like You at Space Ballroom on Oct. 16 as part of the band's anniversary tour. The mathcore veterans are promoting a new album and video while revisiting their classic record "Mongrel," with a remastered vinyl also arriving that day.
   

4. Mount St. Mary's Men's Tennis Set to Open the Year at Loyola with the McClure Invitational (mountathletics.com) — Mount St. Mary's men's tennis will visit Hamden from Oct. 2–4 for the Metro Masters tournament, bringing collegiate competition to town soon after opening their season in Baltimore. With a large returning roster and few freshmen, the team hopes to build momentum early, giving local fans a chance to see high-level college tennis close to home.
   

5. New Haven man gets 30 years in prison for 2023 fatal drive-by shooting (ctpost.com) — A New Haven man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for a 2023 drive-by shooting, in which police say the gunfire came from a stolen SUV originally taken in Hamden. The vehicle was later found abandoned in North Haven, tying several nearby communities to the deadly incident.
