• Old Lyme Man Was Going 95 MPH In Gold Star Bridge Construction Zone, Police Say (patch.com) — Drivers from Lyme and nearby towns may take note after state troopers charged an Old Lyme resident with reckless driving for allegedly going 95 mph through the Gold Star Memorial Bridge construction zone. Police say the man claimed he was rushing home to use the restroom before being taken into custody and released on bond.
