Firefighters removed a door to help EMS safely get a person out of the damaged car, underscoring the quick local response to roadway incidents.

• Updated 2026 Pool Schedule Released For Trumbull (patch.com) — Trumbull residents now have an updated schedule for the Tashua Knolls and Beach Memorial pools covering late August through Labor Day, with separate weekday and weekend hours. The town notes that adult swim will run 15 minutes each hour at both pools and that all times may change without notice, helping locals plan their remaining 2026 pool visits.
