Vernon police were alerted as the truck sped through local roads, injuring a passenger in another car, and the driver is scheduled to appear in Rockville Superior Court on August 25.

Somers man charged in murder and home invasion due in court Wednesday (newstimes.com) — A Somers man accused in a deadly home invasion is scheduled for his first court appearance before a judge in Vernon, tying a major regional case to the local courthouse. State police say the shooting happened early Tuesday in Somers, and the suspect is being held on a $1.5 million bond pending proceedings in Rockville Superior Court.
