• Sussex appeals wind ruling, best day to buy gas, NHL playoffs (delawareonline.com) — Power lines from a proposed offshore wind farm are planned to connect into a substation in Dagsboro, a step that still needs a conditional use permit from Sussex County. County Council just voted to appeal a court ruling in the wider zoning fight over the project, so the outcome could directly affect future energy infrastructure running under the Indian River and Bay.

• Pepsi Bottling Ventures Plant sells in Harrington (delawarebusinesstimes.com) — A major industrial landlord that owns Savannah Square Shopping Center in Dagsboro has just bought the former Pepsi Bottling Ventures plant in Harrington for $3.15 million. While that facility will be marketed for new tenants, the deal signals continued investment by this owner across Sussex and Kent counties, including its existing retail foothold in Dagsboro.
