Drivers urged to use caution as farm vehicles increase on roadways (wboc.com) — Farmers working fields near Millsboro are warning drivers to slow down and share increasingly busy back roads with large planting equipment this spring. Oversized tractors often cross the center line, and growers say impatient, distracted motorists are making routine moves between fields more dangerous. Officials urge drivers to pass only when safe and give farm vehicles extra space.

Nanticoke Heritage Day set for May 2 (coastalpoint.com) — Millsboro residents are invited to Nanticoke Heritage Day on Saturday, May 2, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Nanticoke Indian Museum on John J. Williams Highway. The free, family-friendly event will feature traditional dancing, drumming, crafts, storytelling, and food while celebrating the living culture and history of the Nanticoke people.

4. Richard J. Bellerose (concordmonitor.com) — Millsboro is mourning the passing of longtime resident Richard J. Bellerose, who died peacefully at home on April 5 surrounded by family. A dedicated Air Force veteran, business leader, Rotarian, and community volunteer, he leaves behind his wife Elinor, children, grandchildren, and extended family. Services will be held later in New Hampshire.
