• DNREC aims to improve navigation with Indian River dredging project near Millsboro (coasttv.com) — Boaters and waterfront residents near Millsboro should expect changing conditions on the upper Indian River as DNREC begins a long-term dredging project to clear sediment and restore tidal wetlands through March 2027. The work aims to keep channels safely navigable for the Millsboro area, but may temporarily restrict access, so boaters are urged to use caution around active dredging operations. 
• Priscilla C. Geidel, devoted to God, family (capegazette.com) — Millsboro residents are mourning the passing of 92-year-old Priscilla C. Geidel, who died at her home in town after a life devoted to faith, family, and helping children learn. Her family will hold a private graveside service, and friends are encouraged to honor her by donating to the Millsboro Public Library instead of sending flowers.
• Delaware Municipal Leaders Launch Statewide AI Committee (wmdt.com) — Millsboro’s town government is joining municipalities across Delaware on a new G.A.T.E. Committee focused on how local agencies should use artificial intelligence responsibly. Led initially by Milford’s IT team, the group will share policies, security practices, and real-world AI tools, with another virtual meeting set for July 14 that could shape how Millsboro eventually deploys these technologies.
