The gift, among the largest ever to a K‑12 school, underscores Ross's broader support for local education, including scholarships for West Palm Beach high school students.
   

• PBSO: Motorcyclist with 'Come get me,' 'I will run' on bike flees, jumps backyard fences (cw34.com) — A West Palm Beach teenager is jailed after deputies say he fled a traffic stop on a motorcycle labeled "Come get me" and "I will run," then jumped fences through neighborhood backyards. PBSO reports he abandoned the unregistered bike near Michigan Place, hid in a fenced yard without permission, and now faces multiple charges including fleeing, burglary, and reckless driving.
   

• Brightline Likely to File for Bankruptcy This Week (bocaratontribune.com) — Brightline's expected Chapter 11 bankruptcy could sound alarming, but service to West Palm Beach is expected to continue without interruption as part of the Miami–Orlando route. The filing is aimed at restructuring a heavy $5.5 billion debt load, backed by new financing from a major bond insurer, while keeping trains running and stations operating normally for Florida riders.
