1. City leaders provide Hurricane Helene Recovery Update (wfxg.com) — Augusta's Emergency Management Agency reports that nearly $76 million in Hurricane Helene recovery costs have been reimbursed or are pending, easing the city's financial burden. With a higher federal cost share and dozens of projects underway, officials are focusing on repairing infrastructure like sidewalks, traffic signals, vehicles, and historic cemetery buildings across the city.
   

2. Hispanic Heritage Month in the CSRA (wfxg.com) — Hispanic Heritage Month is in full swing across Augusta, with local restaurants and dance studios showcasing the area's rich Latino culture through food, music, and Latin dance. Crew celebrates its Barn Jacket (retaildive.com) — Shoppers at Augusta Mall now have a new option with Primark opening its second Georgia store right here, expanding the value-focused fashion chain's U.S. footprint.
