• VA Augusta promotes Suicide Prevention Awareness Month (wjbf.com) — VA Augusta is using Suicide Prevention Awareness Month to remind local veterans and their families that confidential help is available before a crisis hits. Staff are doing community outreach across the CSRA, sharing warning signs to watch for and promoting the 988, press 1 Veterans Crisis Line and other resources so Augusta-area veterans can get support early.
   

• AT&T Offers $10,000 Reward as Copper Theft Cases Rise Across Georgia (kicks99.com) — AT&T says the Augusta area has been especially hard hit by copper thefts that have knocked out internet and phone service for customers, and it's now offering a $10,000 reward for tips leading to arrests and convictions. Recent incidents in Grovetown and other Georgia cities show thieves targeting copper and sometimes fiber, prompting the company to urge residents to report suspicious activity.
   

• Neonatal intensive care admissions rising in Ga., S.C. (wrdw.com) — Parents in Augusta and across Georgia and South Carolina are increasingly seeing newborns require neonatal intensive care, with specialized treatment in this region centered at the Children's Hospital of Georgia's Level IV NICU. The report highlights rising NICU admissions, support from March of Dimes, and efforts to help families navigate extended stays and safe infant transport home.
