• St. Mary's Sacred Heart Partnering with Bowersville Church to Give Out School Supplies (921wlhr.com) — Families in Bowersville can pick up free school supplies at a Back-to-School Bash hosted by Flat Shoals Baptist Church and St. Mary’s Sacred Heart on Saturday, July 19, from 2–6 p.m. at 2999 Bowersville Highway. The event supports students in Hart, Franklin, and nearby counties, and organizers are still accepting donated supplies at the church and the Lavonia hospital.
