• The Climb highlights perinatal mental health Sept. 26 (daily-tribune.com) — Cartersville families can join a free perinatal mental health event, The Climb, on Sept. 26 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Dellinger Park's Pavilions 3 and 4. Organizers from Cultivate Health and Postpartum Support International are offering a Hope Walk, kids' activities, and local resource tables to connect parents with postpartum support and raise funds for Georgia families. 
• Thursday's softball roundup: Cass finds a way late; Cartersville remains perfect in region play (bartowsportszone.com) — Cartersville High's softball team stayed unbeaten in Region 7-5A with a dominant 12-0 road win over Cedartown and will host Villa Rica Tuesday at 5:15 p.m. The roundup also details Cass, Woodland, and Adairsville results, giving Bartow County fans a clear picture of how local rivals are faring in region play.
