• Students named to NGTC President's List and Honor Roll for Summer Semester 2026 (wnegradio.com) — A Cumming student, Bailey Piper, has earned a spot on North Georgia Technical College's Honor Roll for summer 2026, recognized for strong academic performance in the Electrical Lineworker program. The college also announced dozens of other President's List and Honor Roll honorees from across northeast Georgia. 
• Deputies investigate dog attack near apartment complex (appenmedia.com) — A Cumming woman and her dog were attacked by three other dogs while she walked near an Atlanta Highway apartment complex in Forsyth County earlier this month. Deputies say the other owner admitted the incident and agreed to pay the vet bills, though she was not charged. The injured dog was treated by a veterinarian and is recovering.
