• The Cumming Fair opens on October 8th with FREE admission and $25 unlimited rides (atlantaonthecheap.com) — Cumming residents can start planning now for the Cumming Country Fair & Festival's 30th year, running October 8–18 at the Cumming Fairgrounds with multiple free-admission days and discounted unlimited-ride wristbands. The schedule lays out daily hours, prices, and special promotions for seniors, students, military, first responders, and families looking to save on rides and gate fees. 
• Collection at Forsyth planning fitness-based space (appenmedia.com) — A new 40,000-square-foot, fitness-focused indoor facility is planned beside The Collection at Forsyth, just off Ga. 400 a few miles south of Cumming, expanding local recreation options. County commissioners have already approved needed variances, paving the way for more amenities that Cumming-area residents can use alongside existing shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues.
