Joseph Gullett, who represents parts of Paulding County, will hold his next constituent service hours at Mt. Tabor Park in Dallas on Thursday, October 22, 2026. Residents can meet him there to discuss state issues, seek help with government services, and share local concerns he can take back to the Capitol.

• Federal appeals court voids ruling that Georgia's political maps violated Voting Rights Act (griffindailynews.com) — A federal appeals court has thrown out an earlier ruling that said Georgia's political maps violated the Voting Rights Act, ordering a lower court to reconsider the case under a new Supreme Court standard. Dallas-based Senate Majority Leader Jason Anavitarte isn't saying yet whether lawmakers will revisit redistricting before 2028, leaving local representation questions unresolved for now.
