• DeKalb finds more mosquitoes carrying West Nile virus (decaturish.com) — DeKalb Public Health says mosquito traps in North Decatur's 30033 ZIP code and Brookhaven's 30319 have tested positive for West Nile virus, though no human cases are confirmed in the county so far this year. With ten positive traps reported across DeKalb since July, Decatur-area residents are urged to stay informed about symptoms and contact the health department for prevention guidance.
