1. FACS After Five (uga.edu) — A UGA FACS alumni and friends gathering is set for Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at Mill Hill Community Arts Center on Clinton Street in Macon. Marietta native endows scholarship at Mercer University (ledger-enquirer.com) — Mercer University in Macon is gaining a new endowed scholarship to support English and communication studies majors, thanks to alumna Menlia Trammell honoring her late husband, Dr. Bob Trammell.
