• CAF Airbase Georgia Announces 2026 Georgia Barnstorming Tour Across Seven Airports (vintageaviationnews.com) — Peachtree City’s CAF Airbase Georgia is launching a 2026 Barnstorming Tour that will showcase WWII aircraft at seven airports statewide, then wrap up with a big finale at its Falcon Field headquarters November 21–22. Residents can see and even book rides on warbirds like the P-51 Mustang, SBD Dauntless, and PT-19 while the group promotes aviation careers and living history for local students. • Summer rains erase this Spring's Extreme Drought (wsbradio.com) — The National Weather Service office in Peachtree City has officially declared Georgia’s long-running drought over after heavy spring and summer rains. Data show conditions peaked in April with exceptional drought across a third of the state, then eased as frequent storms soaked areas from Athens to Atlanta. With fall typically drier, forecasters say it’s unclear whether drought will return later this year.
• Tiffany Haddish Pleads Guilty in Long-Running Georgia DUI Case (themovieblog.com) — A long-running DUI case tied to an incident in Peachtree City has ended with actress Tiffany Haddish pleading guilty to a misdemeanor alcohol-related driving charge in Fayette County. The 2022 arrest began when she was reportedly found asleep at the wheel, and she’ll now serve 12 months’ probation with license suspension and sobriety requirements.

- I was trimming wallpaper around an outlet and realized how much of this job happens in tiny spaces.
