City of Smyrna Names Paul Louis Osburn, Jr. Public Works Director (metroatlantaceo.com) — Smyrna has officially named longtime employee Paul Louis Osburn, Jr. as its new Public Works Director, putting him in charge of water, streets, sanitation, recycling, and city facilities. After nearly two decades rising through Smyrna's ranks and earning multiple state certifications, he'll now oversee the infrastructure and essential services residents rely on every day.
   

2. Smyrna dismemberment case: Disbelief as murder probe continues (fox5atlanta.com) — Smyrna police are still investigating the brutal killing of Shanteria "KT" Mosley at Park Valley Apartments and are asking anyone with information to come forward. Court documents describe a witness seeing the suspect drop a tub later found to contain her torso, with additional remains recovered from a car. Neighbors in the Smyrna complex say they're shaken but grateful for the heavy police presence.

Family Of Missing Georgia Woman Shanteria 'KT' Mosley Holds Vigil After Dismembered Remains Found, Suspect Charged With Malice Murder (bossip.com) — Family and friends of Shanteria "KT" Mosley gathered shortly after her dismembered remains were found at a Smyrna apartment complex, sharing memories of her joy and kindness. Smyrna police say she was likely killed late the morning of Sept. 23, and an 18-year-old suspect now faces malice murder charges. Relatives also describe how they helped locate her remains and continue urging witnesses to speak up.
