1. Breaking down DeKalb Schools' redistricting options by cluster (decaturish.com) — Families in Tucker's school cluster could see significant boundary shifts under three DeKalb County redistricting options, moving hundreds of students among Brockett, Smoke Rise, Idlewood, Midvale, and Livsey elementaries by 2027. The plans aim to relieve overcrowding across north DeKalb, and residents are urged to review maps and complete the district's feedback survey before a final vote later this year.

2. Tucker shuts out Druid Hills (thechampionnewspaper.com) — Tucker High School's football team stayed undefeated with a dominant 56-0 homecoming win over Druid Hills, powered by a stifling defense and multiple offensive and special teams scores. After this statement victory in Region 5-5A play, the Tigers get a week off before facing DeKalb rival Southwest DeKalb on Oct. 9, giving local fans another big date to circle.

3. 2027 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) Registration and Housing to Open Oct. 5 (perishablenews.com) — Tucker-based U.S. Poultry & Egg Association has announced that registration and housing for the massive 2027 International Production & Processing Expo will open Oct. 5. While the expo itself will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, the show is organized from Tucker and offers local industry professionals discounted early registration, extensive education sessions, and broad networking across the global protein sector.

4. Tucker food wholesaler partners with New York meat purveyor (thechampionnewspaper.com) — A Tucker-based food wholesaler, Inland Foods, is teaming up with renowned New York butcher Pat LaFrieda Meat Purveyors to bring premium beef cuts to restaurants and specialty retailers across the Southeast. The long-established Tucker company says the partnership expands its offerings beyond seafood, with smaller case sizes designed to help local chefs and independent markets manage costs and inventory.
