• FEMA delivers over $68 Million to aid fire departments and first responder organizations in the Midwest (wbiw.com) — Alsip's fire department is set to receive more than $850,000 from FEMA, part of a broader $68 million package for Midwest first responders. The grant can fund new protective gear, vehicles, and wellness programs, directly strengthening emergency response and safety for Alsip residents. Additional awards went to departments across Illinois and neighboring states.
