• Village Council To Hold 1st Reading For Ogden Avenue Dealership Proposal (patch.com) — Downers Grove residents may soon see a new Rivian dealership replace the former Bill Kay Corvette site on Ogden Avenue, as the Village Council prepares for a first reading on a special use permit. Officials will also consider a 10-year, 50-percent sales tax rebate, with village documents projecting at least $150,000 in annual sales tax revenue after the rebate period.
   

• Downers Grove North QB Kevin Jay, hurt last week, throws 2 TDs in relief, 'D' locks down win vs. Glenbard West (shawlocal.com) — Downers Grove fans saw a big home win Friday as Downers Grove North's defense clamped down Glenbard West after early long runs, securing a 24-14 victory. Injured senior Kevin Jay stepped in at quarterback, throwing two touchdown passes at Downers Grove North High School while the Trojans improved to 4-0 behind a strong night from running back Grant Georgas.
