The deal, covering 189 employees, boosts wages—especially for Buildings and Grounds staff to reach market rates—and adjusts health plan incentives and retirement salary bumps, with district and union leaders calling it fair and fiscally responsible.
   

4. Speakers from District 181, Hinsdale Central, and Hinsdale South shared practical tips on time management, stress, sleep, and using school support resources, with special emphasis on local tutoring through Hinsdale Central's P.A.S.S. and the Hinsdale Public Library.
   

5. South Suburban Summer ID: Position Player Analysis (prepbaseballreport.com) — Two Hinsdale Central underclassmen, infielder Max Judge and shortstop Owen Sunderson, earned top-five recognition at a South Suburban Summer ID baseball showcase in Crestwood, impressing scouts with strong bats, arms, and athletic testing.
