1. 2 Bowling Green men charged after allegedly breaking into more than 25 vehicles (wnky.com) — Two Bowling Green residents have been arrested after police say more than 25 vehicles were broken into around the McFadin Station and Cherry Blossom Road area, with stolen items and handguns later recovered. Officers used a dropped cell phone to help identify the suspects, both now held at Warren County Regional Jail as the investigation continues and more charges remain possible. 
2. WKU continues 'Climbing to Greater Heights' with new strategic plan (wkuherald.com) — Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green has rolled out a new "Climbing to Greater Heights" strategic plan that emphasizes student success, campus life, and stronger ties with the local community. Leaders want more two-way engagement, with residents coming onto campus and WKU students and staff participating more in Bowling Green events, workforce efforts, and partnerships through 2031.
3. Man arrested in connection with multi-state Walmart thefts, including in Kentucky (wnky.com) — Bowling Green police say their detectives helped identify and track down a Detroit man accused in a string of Walmart electronics thefts across Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee. The suspect was arrested in Michigan and now awaits extradition to Kentucky, while investigators continue pursuing additional arrests in the multi-state scheme.
4. Red and White Scrimmage offers early look at WKU Volleyball (wbko.com) — WKU volleyball gave fans in Bowling Green an early look at this year's highly ranked squad during the Red and White Scrimmage at Diddle Arena. With a deep veteran roster, strong preseason expectations, and a postgame youth clinic for local kids, the Lady Toppers appear poised for another title push.
5. 6 indicted on drug charges (kentuckytoday.com) — A federal grand jury in Bowling Green has indicted six Madisonville-area residents on serious methamphetamine and cocaine distribution charges after a DEA-led investigation. The case, prosecuted from the U.S. Attorney's Bowling Green branch office, could bring each defendant at least 10 years in prison if convicted and is part of a broader Homeland Security Task Force effort.
