The PC(USA)'s Young Adult Volunteers are commissioned to 'a year of service for a lifetime of change' (pres-outlook.org) — Louisville plays a key role in the Presbyterian Church (USA)'s Young Adult Volunteers program, with some of this year's 47 participants commissioned at the Presbyterian Center here and others assigned to serve in the city. The newly commissioned volunteers will spend a year in simple, community-based service across U.S. and international sites, focusing on justice, faith, and vocational discernment.
