A first-of-its-kind US factory could make grid batteries safer (toptech.news) — A new $42 million Anthro Energy factory is coming to Louisville, promising 110 permanent jobs and a key role in the U.S. battery supply chain. The plant will make safer polymer electrolytes for grid, transportation, and defense batteries, backed by major federal funding. Construction and nearly 390 related jobs are expected as it ramps up toward a 2027 opening.
