Rabbit Hole Distillery Launches Six-Year-Old Raceking Bourbon Ahead of Kentucky Racing Season
Limited-Edition Expression Celebrates Patience, Craftsmanship, and Kentucky's Horse Racing Heritage

As Kentucky’s marquee racing season gets underway, Rabbit Hole Distillery has introduced Raceking, a six-year-old, limited-edition Kentucky Straight Bourbon that builds on the distillery’s earlier 2020 release of the same name.
The new expression reflects a longer aging process aimed at enhancing depth and complexity, while continuing to showcase the brand’s focus on mash bill innovation and modern bourbon-making techniques.
Bottled at 95 proof (47.5% ABV), Raceking is crafted from a five-grain mash bill that incorporates chocolate-malted wheat and chocolate-malted barley. The bourbon is aged for six years in toasted and charred American oak barrels produced by Kelvin Cooperage.

According to the distillery, the whiskey opens with aromas of toffee and toasted almonds, alongside subtle notes of brown sugar. On the palate, it delivers layers of roasted espresso, cocoa, and caramel, with hints of clove and cardamom. The finish is described as long and complex, featuring notes of tobacco, leather, and lingering dark chocolate.
Founder Kaveh Zamanian said the release is intended to reflect both tradition and experimentation within the bourbon category, while also paying tribute to Kentucky’s horse racing heritage.
