Systems Restored At 2 MD Hospitals After Cyberattack Rattles Operations For Weeks
Health care systems are back online for Luminis Health patients after a cyberattack left patients and providers stranded.
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — Weeks after being hit with a cyberattack, Luminis Health announced Thursday that its systems were fully restored.
The health care provider had been dealing with the cyberattack fallout since early September, when it announced that some of its portals were offline.
"Our systems have been restored, and our hospitals, practices and other care locations continue to see and care for patients," reads the statement released by Luminis Health.
