• Constellation Theatre Company announces 20th anniversary season (dctheaterarts.org) — A D.C.-based theater company is bringing its 20th anniversary season to Bethesda, staging "Dial M For Murder" at The Writer's Center from February 19 to March 21, 2027. Local theatergoers can also look ahead to subscription sales opening September 4 and additional events to be announced.
   

• DC-area volunteers raising money for truck to support Ukraine war effort (bethesdamagazine.com) — A Bethesda resident is helping lead the state's push to raise $13,000 for a specially equipped truck to support a Ukrainian military unit. The effort is part of the nationwide 50 States for Ukraine campaign, which channels donations through Car for Ukraine, and neighboring D.C. and Virginia have already funded multiple vehicles.
   

• Battlefield Lessons, Global Standards: USU Co-Authors Landmark Update to Penetrating TBI Care (usuhs.edu) — Surgeons at Walter Reed in Bethesda are part of a global shift in how penetrating brain injuries are treated, moving from watchful waiting to rapid surgery. New open-access guidelines, co-authored by the Uniformed Services University, draw on decades of military data to recommend early operations and intensive vascular monitoring, aiming to improve survival and recovery worldwide.
