For reasons now being investigated, Gravely’s car and the bus collided in the intersection, causing the bus to flip onto its side. Investigators believe debris from that collision damaged a third vehicle, the police department stated.
Gravely died at the scene. The bus driver suffered injuries not considered life-threatening. The third driver declined medical attention.
