Lockdown Lifted At School In Greenbelt

Police have lifted a lockdown implemented Wednesday morning out of precaution after a robbery had been reported in the area.

GREENBELT, MD — A lockdown was implemented at Eleanor Roosevelt High School Wednesday morning out of precaution after a robbery was reported near school property.

The Greenbelt Police Department stated that there was no known threat inside the school, that students and staff were safe and secure, and officers remained at the scene to investigate the reported incident.

Not long after, the lockdown was lifted although the police department stated it would continue to investigation the incident.
