• Delegate urges Dundalk property owners to appeal tax assessments over treatment plant problems (wbal.com) — Dundalk homeowners are being urged to challenge their property tax assessments because ongoing odor and pollution issues at the Back River Wastewater Treatment Plant may be hurting home values. Del. Bob Long plans a town meeting Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the Boulevard Diner in Dundalk to explain the appeal process and press regulators to address the plant's problems. 
• 25 years after 9/11: Remembrance events planned across Maryland (wmar2news.com) — Several 9/11 remembrance events are planned close to home, including a weeklong series at CCBC's Dundalk campus featuring ceremonies, discussions, and service projects to honor victims and first responders. Additional tributes across Maryland range from flag displays and candlelight vigils to memorial rides and concerts, giving Dundalk residents many options to participate in marking the 25th anniversary.
