The incident is one of several juvenile gun and carjacking cases statewide that are fueling debate over youth crime and accountability in Maryland.
   

• Murder trial against Maryland mother Catherine Hoggle rescheduled for October 2027 (fox5dc.com) — Montgomery County residents following the long-running Catherine Hoggle case should know her murder trial has been postponed until October 2027, more than a decade after her two young children disappeared. Hoggle, once found wandering alone in Germantown, will be allowed to use an insanity defense as prosecutors pursue two murder counts tied to the 2014 case.
