Wes Moore to address what they call a staffing crisis at Eastern Correctional Institution in Princess Anne, warning it threatens the safety of staff, inmates, and the surrounding community. They’re urging immediate limits on inmate movements, faster and more local hiring, and possible relocation or housing incentives to attract officers to the Somerset County prison.
