Hazardous Waste Collection Coming To Barnstable
Barnstable's hazardous waste collection day is inching closer.
BARNSTABLE, MA —In a few days, Barnstable residents will have a chance to safely dispose of their hazardous waste.
The town’s hazardous waste collection day will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 10 at the Barnstable Transfer Station.
While the event is open to the public, participants must provide proof of residency or residential property ownership in the town of Barnstable.

Accepted items include paints, automotive fluids, pool chemicals, household cleaners, oil, antifreeze and other materials. All items must be placed in secure boxes.
Throughout the collection process, residents will be asked to remain in their vehicles. They will also be asked to complete a six-question survey after hazardous waste staff sort through their materials.
