• Early Mornings Are Perfect for Building Community (belmontvoice.org) — Early-morning running groups are now meeting several days a week in Belmont Center, Waverley Square, and Cushing Square, giving residents a no-cost way to exercise and meet neighbors. Led by Belmont High graduate Roger Hauck, the Coogee Groups runs are kept hyper-local so participants can jog from home, with easy paces and flexible distances to welcome all abilities.

• Grant to fund electric-vehicle charging stations in Surfside, Kenberma, Pemberton areas (hulltimes.com) — Belmont residents may be interested to know that Belmont Light is partnering with Hull and Ipswich utilities in a state-funded clean energy initiative that supports new EV charging infrastructure. The grant, part of MassCEC's InnovateMass Gridtech Spotlight program, will fund lamppost-based chargers in Hull while also advancing broader policy discussions on EVs, microgrids, and a faster transition to non‑carbon power across participating municipal light departments.
