Boston Man Arrested After Shots Fired At Occupied Vehicle (patch.com) — Boston residents are learning more about a frightening shooting near Pauline Bennett Way and Smith Street, where police say a Roxbury man fired multiple shots at an occupied vehicle but caused no injuries. Detectives later arrested the suspect and recovered an alleged ghost gun, and he now faces attempted murder and several firearm charges in Roxbury District Court.
   

2. Fatal Boston Shooting Under Investigation (patch.com) — Neighbors in Boston's Hyde Park are grappling with a fatal shooting inside a local business that left a Milton man dead and disrupted Fairmount Line commuter rail service as police searched nearby tracks. Boston homicide detectives are investigating, have recovered a gun magazine near Fairmount Avenue, and are urging anyone with information to contact them or submit anonymous tips.
   

3. 6-Alarm Fire Tears Through Boston Building (patch.com) — Boston firefighters battled a massive six-alarm blaze Monday at the Edison Building in Roxbury's Nubian Square, forcing crews to fight the fire from outside and shut down nearby streets. One firefighter was injured, five businesses were affected, and officials warned of possible structural collapse as smoke continued pouring from the basement near the Roxbury library and municipal court.
   

4. Scottish Fish and Neil Pearlman & the Wallbreakers to Play Boston Fiddle Funk Festival (broadwayworld.com) — Boston-based Celtic group Scottish Fish and Neil Pearlman & the Wallbreakers are headlining the Boston Fiddle Funk Festival at Arts at The Armory in nearby Somerville on November 20. The high-energy show blends Scottish, Cape Breton, funk, and jazz influences, with doors at 6 p.m. and tickets already on sale, giving Greater Boston music fans plenty of time to plan a night out.
   

5. Boats washed ashore on Massachusetts beaches after nor'easter (cbsnews.com) — Boston's waterfront is still feeling the nor'easter's punch, with Monday's high tide pushing water to the top of docks along the Aquarium Harborwalk and forcing visitors to rethink outdoor plans. Just up the coast in Quincy, boats washed onto Wollaston Beach and nearby coves, leaving Sea Tow and state officials to manage tricky recoveries and storm cleanup.
