• Massachusetts Reports Season's First Human WNV Case, First EEE-Positive Sample (town.news) — Canton is now classified at a moderate risk level for West Nile virus, as state health officials confirm this season's first human WNV case and initial EEE-positive mosquito samples in Massachusetts. Residents are urged to use EPA-registered repellents, cover up during peak mosquito hours, and remove standing water around homes to protect themselves and their animals.
