Danvers Police To Host 'Fill The Cruiser' School Supply Drive (patch.com) — Families in Danvers have a chance to support local students as Danvers police host a Fill the Cruiser school supply drive at the Staples on Independence Way on Sept. 3. Shoppers can buy a pre-packed bag of supplies in the store and donate it directly at the cruiser between 3 and 7 p.m., helping kids start the school year prepared.

4. Danvers Police To Host Annual D.A.R.E. Golf Tournament At Ferncroft CC (patch.com) — Danvers residents can hit the links on Sept. 14 to support the Police Department's D.A.R.E. program at Ferncroft Country Club in Middleton. The annual tournament raises money for youth education initiatives and offers golf, lunch, raffles, and sponsorship opportunities for local businesses and individuals. Registration is open now for single golfers, foursomes, and multiple sponsor levels.
