Danvers Resident Named Bridgewell Senior VP of Operations (patch.com) — Danvers readers may be interested to know that resident Joanna Huntington has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations at Bridgewell, a major human services nonprofit serving northeastern Massachusetts. With more than 25 years of behavioral health and recovery experience, she will now oversee operational divisions, support program leaders, and help guide strategic priorities that affect services across the region.

Essex Tech Touts Lowest Per-Pupil Cost Among MA Vocational Schools (patch.com) — Residents in Danvers can take pride in Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School reporting the lowest per-pupil cost among Massachusetts agricultural and vocational schools, based on FY25 state data. School leaders say they're carefully managing expenses while still offering strong academic, agricultural, and technical programs, and pledge to keep Danvers-area communities informed about how education dollars are spent.
   

3. Danvers Police To Host 'Fill The Cruiser' School Supply Drive (patch.com) — Families in Danvers have a chance to support local students as Danvers police host a Fill the Cruiser school supply drive at the Staples on Independence Way on Sept. 3. Shoppers can buy a pre-packed bag of supplies in the store and donate it directly at the cruiser between 3 and 7 p.m., helping kids start the school year prepared.
   

4. Danvers Police To Host Annual D.A.R.E. Golf Tournament At Ferncroft CC (patch.com) — Danvers residents can hit the links on Sept. 14 to support the Police Department's D.A.R.E. program at Ferncroft Country Club in Middleton. The annual tournament raises money for youth education initiatives and offers golf, lunch, raffles, and sponsorship opportunities for local businesses and individuals. Registration is open now for single golfers, foursomes, and multiple sponsor levels.
