Swampscott Juneteenth Celebration Set For Town Hall Lawn

Swampscott Recreation and local partners will host a community Juneteenth celebration June 18 from 1 to 4 p.m.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Swampscott residents are invited to gather at Town Hall Lawn on June 18 for a Juneteenth celebration centered on culture, history and community.

The event is scheduled for 1 to 4 p.m. and is designed to be an afternoon of connection and celebration.

The program is titled "Juneteenth Celebration – Let Freedom Ring!"

It is being presented by Swampscott Recreation in partnership with the North Shore Juneteenth Association Inc., METCO and S.U.R.E Diversity.

Attendees can expect food, live music, poetry, local vendors, inspiring speakers and a flag-raising ceremony.
