• Man charged with firearm, drug offenses in Waltham (newportdispatch.com) — Police say a man is facing numerous gun and drug charges after allegedly shooting himself during a confrontation at a Main Street residence in Waltham earlier this month. Officers reportedly found an untraceable "ghost gun" and a large amount of methamphetamine, and the suspect was later arraigned in Waltham District Court. He remains hospitalized while awaiting a dangerousness hearing.
