Here's When Worcester Pools, Beaches Open For 2026 Summer Season
The city announced when its pools, beaches, and spray parks will open for the summer season.
WORCESTER, MA — Worcester’s pools, beaches, and spray parks will open for the summer season on Tuesday under the city’s 2026 Aquatic Program.
The city announced Thursday that Crompton Park Pool, Bell Pond Beach, Coes Pond Beach, Indian Lake Beach, Shore Park Beach and all city spray parks will be fully staffed beginning June 30. The city is partnering with the YMCA of Central Massachusetts for the third consecutive year to staff the facilities.
Crompton Park Pool and the four city beaches will be open daily from noon to 7 p.m. from June 30 through Aug. 22. The city’s spray parks at East Park, Greenwood Park, University Park and Tacoma Street will be open daily from noon to 7 p.m. from June 30 through Sept. 7.
As part of the program, the YMCA of Central Massachusetts will offer free swimming lessons at Crompton Park Pool, Coes Pond Beach, Bell Pond Beach and Shore Park Beach.
The YMCA will also manage and supervise the city Department of Parks, Recreation & Cemetery’s free kayaking and paddleboard rental program at Coes Pond Beach. The program has been operating on weekends since Memorial Day and will expand to seven days a week from June 30 through Aug. 22.
