Worcester College Welcomes New Campus Police Officer, Dispatcher
Quinsigamond Community College has added two new members to its Campus Police Department.
WORCESTER, MA — A college in Worcester has added two new members to its Campus Police Department.
Quinsigamond Community College welcomed Officer Crystal Mumbauer, who was sworn in Thursday and will begin the department's field training officer process on campus. Andrew Evans also joined the department last month as a police dispatcher.
The department says that Officer Mumbauer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Justice Studies from Southern New Hampshire University and has experience as a 911 dispatcher, security officer and nationally certified EMT.
Evans, a Worcester resident originally from the United Kingdom, brings more than a decade of experience as a call taker and dispatcher with Philips Lifeline. He also holds a Ph.D. in history.
QCC says its Campus Police Department provides campus safety services including first responder services, crime prevention and outreach, fire safety, safety escorts and QCC Alert services.
