Inspectors required on-the-spot fixes like discarding food, rearranging storage, and repairing equipment, and facilities received guidance to prevent future problems that could affect Brighton diners' health.
   

2. Boisvert Appointed New Brighton Fire Chief (whmi.com) — Brighton-area residents will see a new face leading local fire services as longtime Fire Marshal and Brighton High graduate Richard Boisvert becomes Fire Chief of the Brighton Area Fire Authority on October 22. He succeeds retiring Chief Michael O'Brian, bringing decades of service, statewide recognition, and multiple valor awards to the role while pledging strong community-focused leadership.
