• Cheapest E85 gas in Macomb County reach $2.59 in week ending Aug. 29 (warrensun.com) — Drivers in Macomb County paying for E85 can find the cheapest reported price at $2.59 per gallon for the week ending Aug. 29, with an overall county average of $3.47. That's slightly higher than Michigan's statewide E85 average of $3.30, as broader refinery outages and global oil tensions continue to keep fuel costs elevated heading into late summer. 
• Nessel announces public administrator appointments (legalnews.com) — Macomb County residents dealing with estates without wills will now see Angelo Donofrio serving as their county public administrator, handling assets when there are no known heirs. Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel also named Patricia Davis to the same role in Marquette County, emphasizing both attorneys' experience and commitment to their communities.
