As Data Centers Move Forward, Local Leaders Say Communities Need More Tools (thesuntimesnews.com) — Saline Township is in the thick of managing a massive Related Digital data center project, weighing noise, groundwater, lighting and wastewater issues while construction continues. A new University of Michigan survey shows many Michigan officials share similar worries about data centers' environmental impacts and infrastructure demands, even as they acknowledge potential tax and job benefits.
