• HEROES: Fair Lawn Firefighters Quickly Douse Bagel Shop, UPS Store Blaze (tapinto.net) — Fair Lawn firefighters quickly brought under control a predawn fire that started at Hot Bagel on Saddle River Road and spread to a neighboring UPS Store, limiting damage to a moderate level. Nearly three dozen borough firefighters and local emergency crews responded within minutes after a worker arrived to heavy smoke and called 911, with fire officials now investigating the cause. 
• Fair Lawn Resident To Lead Effort To 'Reimangine Parish Life' for Archdiocese of Newark (tapinto.net) — A Fair Lawn resident, Peter Denio, has been tapped to lead the Archdiocese of Newark's new Parish Mission Renewal Office, guiding a multi-year effort to reimagine parish life and ministry. Drawing on decades of pastoral experience, he'll help parishes identify local missionary opportunities, support planning, and advise church leadership on evolving parish needs across the region.
