• An 8-foot python was hiding under a backyard shed in NJ (wearenewjersey.com) — An 8-foot Burmese python was pulled from beneath a backyard shed in Freehold after it swallowed a possum, forcing animal control officers to dismantle part of the structure. The Monmouth County SPCA is using the rescue to warn residents that releasing exotic pets endangers local wildlife, pets, and the animals themselves.
