Vanguard Theater Turns Ten with Show-Stopping Celebration of Drama, Dreams and Difference-Making (tapinto.net) — Vanguard Theater in Montclair is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a Sept. 26 gala at the Woman's Club of Upper Montclair to raise funds for an ADA elevator and greater accessibility. Local theatergoers can expect Broadway-level performances, an auction, and a preview of a busy season, including the Montclair Theater Festival and youth productions that keep the Bloomfield Avenue venue buzzing all year.

American Symbols, Museum History Reimagined in New Montclair Art Museum Exhibitions (montclairlocal.news) — Two new exhibitions are opening at the Montclair Art Museum on Sept. 19, including Indigenous artist Nadia Myre's first major U.S. show and a large-scale installation by local artist Kate Dodd. Montclair residents can explore reimagined American symbols, museum history, and a dramatically transformed Laurie Art Stairway, with clear hours, admission prices, and long on-view dates into 2027.
