Man sentenced in 2018 fatal stabbing of ex-girlfriend in Montclair (northjersey.com) — A man has been sentenced to 55 years in state prison for fatally stabbing his former girlfriend outside a Montclair apartment building in 2018, bringing closure to a long-running case. Essex County prosecutors say the Kean University student was attacked on Hartley Street as she prepared to leave on vacation, and the defendant later surrendered in Orange.

Light Up Diwali 2026 (thelocalgirl.com) — AAPI New Jersey is bringing its Light Up Diwali festival back to the Montclair Art Museum, inviting local families to celebrate the festival of lights together.
